I am Marc, a vegan from Switzerland. I love travelling by bicycle, spending the nights in a tent and exploring challenging areas using my own muscle power.

My travelling life got interrupted when I suddenly and randomly started suffering from (most likely) an autoimmune encephalitis in July 2020.

Luckily, my brain recovered completely and surprisingly fast from this disease. Unfortunately, the successful treatment had some side effects as well. That’s why I had to get hip prostheses in early Summer 2022.

I am looking forward to starting travelling again (most likely in summer 2024). I have plenty of ideas for short tours, longer travels and many expeditions. I am really keen to be out there again, but first my body needs to recover.

I hope you get inspired and motivated to go outdoors and discover this beautiful world either by bicycle or by foot – but hopefully without using climate-damaging planes.
