Auf dem Weg von Teheran nach Mashhad wurden Grete und ich zum Nachtessen und Übernachten eingeladen. Als wir völlig verschwitzt in die Wohnung eintraten, staunten wir nicht schlecht über die teuer aussehende Wohnungseinrichtung. Für uns sah es aus wie in einem Palast. Erst nach einer Dusche und in frischen Klamotten fanden wir es angebracht, uns auf die Stühle oder auf den schönen Perserteppich zu setzen.
