Da ich kein turkmenisches Visum erhalten hatte, musste ich einen langen Umweg in Angriff nehmen. In Kasachstan nahm ich einen Zug nach Usbekistan. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich im selben Wagen unterbringen – direkt bei der einen Türe, welche schon durch einen Kühlschrank versperrt war.
