In Moldawien suchte ich mir einen Platz zum Übernachten. Der Weg in den Wald hinein war extrem schlammig, und weil es in der Nacht regnete, war es am nächsten Morgen noch schlimmer. Das unbeladene Fahrrad konnte ich keine zwei Meter weit schieben, bis beide Räder aufgrund des klebrigen Schlammes völlig blockiert waren. Als ich die asphaltierte Hauptstrasse erreichte, verbrachte ich einige Zeit damit, mit einem Ast so viel Schlamm wie möglich zu entfernen. Während den ersten paar Fahrkilometer dieses Tages flog mir dann jede Menge Dreck, welcher sich vom Vorderrad löste, ins Gesicht.
